I see Nippy is charging £15 for the cable,my local dealer(Vines)only charged £12 including postage. £8:33+vat collected.

Thanks chas - I was waiting til tomorrow to call my dealer about that - it's £17 on NN (once you include postage) which i thought was a little steep...

For anyone else looking at getting a BMW plug to fit the spare/GPS socket mounted atop the battery it is part 83 30 0 413 585 and costs £12. The wires come numbered. 1 = negative and 3 = positive. Can't figure what 2 does or is for!

2 is supposed to be 'pulse' ie road speed. However, it doesn't seem to work for my Accumate chain oiler.
