it will only become an issue if you have a strict MOT guy. the rozzers have never given any grief over minewent to order the bmw headlight protector today but was warned about it having not for road use stamped on it. are the words etched into the plastic or the surround, can it be rubbed off / sticker put over it ?

Hi Glyno,
Do you have to unscrew everything to clean the main headlight lens?
Bought mine from a gent of this parish, cant recall who as ive deleted the messages but no doubt someone will pop along shortly to say who.
Anyway chuffed to bits with mine and the oil cooler guard is fully integrated.View attachment 146167View attachment 146168
that looks like the ones maveric used to get hold of,but he's stopped doing them.

bought the bmw headlight protector yesterday and was a bit worried when i looked at the fitting instructions. anyway, just been and fitted it, what a doddle. really easy to fit and looks good, i'm happy
£45 and some pence
I bought the stick on type as I don't like the cattle grid looks of the wire mesh ones. As it goes almost right on the lense, there is no light reflected back like others and , IMO, it's not that noticable. If someone wants to steal it, well they must need it more than me, but it's been on for two years now with no problems. It's pretty cheap too compared to the rest. It came with white velcro jobbies, but I had some black velcro lying about and used them instead.
