The height adjuster has stripped the thread hardly surprising metal screw engaging in threaded plastic but the load lever is still working it moves the reflector approx 5-6mm.
so i bit the bullet and got a new headlight from James Sherlock the adjuster and load lever are not connected to the reflector as far as i can see the ball and socket are engaged but the reflector has about 10mm of free movement.
A new unit should work out of the box is there anything i should be doing before fitting to make it work before i send it back to Sherlock for exchange?
