Can anyone help.
I've recently obtained a Sonics Genesis 2 headset, the one the emergency services use. I'm looking to adapt and use this headset with a starcom digital system. I need advice / help re the following :-
1. Will the headset be compatable, i've been told there may be an issue. The sonics headset use an electet microphone. Will this be compatable with Starcom ?
2. Has anyone got the wiring diagram for the starcom min din connectors. To assist in connecting the new connector.
I have contacted both Starcom and Sonics and both seem reticent in helping. IMO the genesis headset configuration would appear to be the way forward. I know from personal observation that the headset is user friendly and clear in excess of 100 + mph, not by me i may add.
Any help or advice would be most welcome.
