headset connections -XT

Just got a Zumo XT phone has connected via bluetooth but the helmet headset Sena SRL2 for shoei neotec 2 will not connect.

Won't connect or won't pair? I paired mine using GPS pairing on the SRL but when it picks it up I often get "media connected" or "mobile phone connected" even though the SRL is already co directly to my phone.

I have the phone paired to the XT and tried to pair it shows SRL and asked for the code but it will not pair,
do i need to have the engine running or just switched on?

You've held the middle button down on the SRL, gone into configuration menu - GPS pairing before putting the XT in pairing mode? Apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.
