Zumo XT to Headset connection

Just swapped my Nav 6 for a Zumo XT and was wondering about best way to connect it to my headset and how others have it setup.

On my 2019 R1250GS, at present I have the Zumo XT linked to my Headset (Cardo Freecom 4+) but not my TFT, and can hear instructions perfectly. However, as my headset is not connected to my TFT, I "lose" the TFT phone and other functions. If I then link my headset to my TFT, I gain the TFT functions, but can no longer hear any directions through my headset.

So was wondering - if I remove the link between my headset and the XT, but leave the link between my headset and the TFT - would I then get the directions through my headset ok, and would this work with the wonderwheel so I can adjust volume.

Any words of wisdom appreciated.

On My 1290 KTM, my iPhone linked to the bikes display, Sena headset connected to the bike too. That way I control incoming calls and music from the handle bar controls.

My Phone also connected to XT but not headset, that way I can do any route transfers from the iPhone/iPad. However, you can also only connect your phone to XT (avoiding, connection to the bike entirely), then connect your headset to XT too, and answer incoming call by tapping on the XT screen, same applies to controlling music.

I have mine linked in the following way and all works as it should:
iPhone to TFT
SRL 2 to TFT
iPhone the XT
SRL 2 to XT using SRL 2 dedicated GPS connection

On the XT, I have unchecked media and phone calls, so it only provides data link for traffic, weather, etc

Thanks Victor - I'll try that out, as (I thought) that's how I connected mine the first time (although I have a Cardo FREECOM 4+ headset) but lost the spoken commands until I deleted the headset to TFT connection. Maybe I did it wrong, or maybe the CARDO connects differently to the SENA unit. Anyway I'll give it a go, thanks for your help, appreciated.
