heated grips for 1100gs

Hi my bike came with replacement oxford heated grips when I bought it and they now need replacing. Is there a reason people didnt sort out the originals ? Are oxford still the way to go?

Maybe the original buyer didn’t specify them in the build when new and a subsequent owner balked at the cost of adding genuine ones.
