Hi my bike came with replacement oxford heated grips when I bought it and they now need replacing. Is there a reason people didnt sort out the originals ? Are oxford still the way to go?

Maybe the original buyer didn’t specify them in the build when new and a subsequent owner balked at the cost of adding genuine ones.

I put Oxford heated grips on my 1150 GS. Because I wanted Renthal fat bars.
They are good but rehearse putting them on, without going near the bars or throttle sleeve, several times. And then go for it. Be fast and precise. When the glue sticks you're done.
I had to buy a second set because I fannied about.
