Couldn't find another thread so my question is, what will happen to my R1200gs LC enduro 2013 if I fit heated grips and throttle assembly from a 2017 r1200gs? I hope someone can advise.
I was told that wouldnt work...grrrif your buying 'used' grips, there is also a difference between bikes with cruse control and ones without... so you need to watch out for this also..
I fitted Oxford on my bike.. work very well indeed![]()

I agree and you will have no problems. BMW will tell you that there's a risk of your bike catching fire hence you should not do it.But others on adventurerider forum have done this and they work perfectly!
Maybe do a "how to" thread?! Id be interested. Thanks for replies I will let you know if it catches fire lol they should be arriving soon
just when you have 2 on.. will it pull too many amps?... I assume this is what they did??
Im lazy and wanted to make sure just fitting one will work I believe some people on here said my bike will set on fire. I fitted the nn horn which works on some bikes but tripped the canbus on mine not sure why and I believe the 2017 grips are hotter?
Why will 2 on make any difference?
I assume each grip has its own wiring.
