Heated grips

On a ride out last Sunday, I found that the throttle heated grip was too hot, while the clutch grip wasn't warm enough.
Further, on the highest setting, the throttle seemed to be sticking.

Someone else of the run mentioned that they had a similar problem with their grips.

Anyone else have the problem, and a solution?

Nudie If you remove the bar end on the throttle side add a small washer that fits in the recess of the bar end weight and check that the bolt will pass thru

As far as it goes the left tends to get colder unless you're on a long run with no clutch operation because you always grip the throttle but yer hand is on and off the the clutch grip when riding

Oh dear. That's one of those drfinitiveanswers. Same problem her but have thought of wrapping the clutch with Leather wrap. Cut down on heat loss perhaps?

I just happen to find that the first settin is not warm enough, hardly feel they are on but the second settin is too hot

On the RHS, the twistgrip tube insulates the grip away from the bars, so it gets hotter. On the LHS the grip is mounted directly onto the bar, which acts as a big 'heatsink', so the LH grip is cooler than the right

Been like this on all 4 of my bikes so far. I think it's a 'normal feature'
