tried the heated grips out tonight while taking a shower, riding home across the north york moors, ahhh. bliss, that was till I backed off for a corner ( it was a bit tight ), and nothing happened, for some reason the heated grips
double up as cruise control, really had to wind the throttle off, is this normal ???,
only had the bike two weeks, so am still learning its little quirks......

It happens. Sorted mine by just slackening off the bar-end screw a little. Putting a washer between the bar-end and the grip should sort it as well.

Never happened to me:confused: Mind you, I understand Scurrell is the GS Club test pilot for throttle related problems....:D

It's happened to me!:D
I fixed it by moving the grip and controls slightly further onto the handlebar.:beerjug:

Same problem, same solution.

Rainbow said it was VERY common.

Pretty Common

It happened on my previous 1150 :(

But not on the latest :)

Happens on my Tiger. As I use a throttle friction screw on my 100GS I actually like it.
