Just got me adventure at the weekend and it has done just over 39K and the grips look a little old and nackered.

Is it the grip that is heated or is it an element under the actual rubber that heats up.

I would like to get some new grips but does that mean I have to buy new heated ones or will any after market grip do as long as it has the same hole size??

Thanks

BMW Grips

Where can one purchase BMW grips (preferably on line) for a 2007 GSA? :nenau

Carefull there....

My 08 has the elements moulded into the grip rubber itself and not under it. Take care with the scalpel knife. It can get costly. Check what yours do before cutting in!

My throttle side grip was IIRC over £50 as it includes the throttle tube, part of a mounting bracket and the cable mount.

Roger.

HHmmmm. Spoke to my local dealer today who gave me the same information.

If your grips are worn, just deal with it as new grips means new heating element etc.

Cost of parts = £130(ish).

Quite like my worn grips afterall :-)
