Heated grips

with the weather being as it is ive been using my heated grips on position 2. and within a short 2 or 3 mins the twist grip tends to
seizes up. has any one had this happen to you? please help me.

Mine did it when I first had it.

As Steve16 says in the other thread, you need to meddle with the end cap. He fitted a thin washer. I turned the heated grips on and slackened the end cap enough so that the throttle moved freely. It's been fine since and seems tight enough [1]to remain in place.

Wessie, if your rear tyre's worn down thin enough by now, you could cut a suitably sized washer out of that, or better still.....































make some heated grips out of it!!!
