Maybe, I've never used Anakees. I thought the Heidenau looked similar enough in knobblyness to match the TKC, which will be staying on the front wheel until it wears out, cheapskate that I am. :blast

How loud are they, reason for asking is i have been using TKC's and currently KAROO's. TKC's are fine but KAROO's are a screeming pain on tarmac. Looking at the depth/hight of the knobbies on the K60's i fear that they are even louder than the KAROO.
What is your experince with tire noise compared to other knobbies ( if any)

Tyres arrived - took a while as they were out of stock, but 1 set each for the 1200 and the 800 delivered to me for €302 isn't bad.

I've got them on my 100GSPD so far I've flung the bike down the road when the front end let go and the rear looks like it's going to last around 2.5k - first impressions aren't too favourable for me :(

Much better than TKC's on the road. (which isn't saying much)

Mine came from Mynetmoto as well. Excellent service. How the hell they can ship them so quickly at that price when It costs me a fortune for crap service from UK companies I'll never know.
 
Yup - that's where I got mine from. Road tests on both the GSA and the 800GS after this weekend:D

I hope not! I normally get about 2500 miles or so out of TKC's with some off road. I haven't had a problem with TKC's handling on the road, apart from being a bit more cautious in the wet. If they're only going to last not much more than 2500 miles I'll be looking for a tyre shop in Bulgaria:nenau

Oh, that's not good - the main reason I ordered them was the supposed mileage available from them with 7-8000km seeming to be the norm for a rear (on big lardy bikes, let alone an air head).

Same reason here. I used to get between 8-9000 miles to a pair of Tourances on my 1150GSA so was hoping for similar for the Heidenaus.

I'm curious what mileage you guys are going to get from them.
 
Just been for a test. On the 800 they handle like the Anakees that were on before, couldn't really tell any difference, and not noisy. On the GSA, they are noisier than the Tourances I had on before, and they sound a bit like the Karoo's (kind of transmission whine type noise) but nothing like as loud as the Karoo's, which sound as though an axle is just about to disintegrate. It's been a while since I had TKC's on, but I reckon they're on a par noise wise. Handling (only a few miles in the dry) seems fine, better than TKC's but I haven't pushed it into any corners yet til they scrub in.

Picked mine up from the sorting office today :) They actually arrived Thursday (I wasn't in) which is brilliant service given they didn't get the order 'til Tuesday morning :clap

I won't actualy be fitting them 'til I set off to The Gambia in Jan so no reviews just yet ..................................

Done a couple of hundred miles on them now, and the noise has reduced somewhat. Definitely better than TKC's on the road. We'll have to see how they go for mileage but plenty of people seem to have got good mileage (at least 5-6k ) from them. I think they may have a new compound when the 150 section rear was introduced.
 
Following on from the successes of Berin, et al, I ordered again from MyNetMoto and got my tyres in next to no time :clap

They seem a lot tighter than TKCs to fit; but that could be my tyre poo drying out quickly in today's temperatures ....They certainly dom'y eed as much weight as a TKC to balance. Now I need to try them out on the road to work and off road. They don't look like they can pull so well through wet mud, but are probably fine on our (currently) dry green lanes.
