Taken the plunge, bought a new Red TE (They are the fastest.....right?) With 3 box vario's, Engine Bars, Gear Assist Pro and a couple of other niknaks.

Can I get a big WC group hug now :)

Good man!

The wunderlich screen extender is a good mod if youre over 6' (i am 6'2" i can ride with the visor up) and the mudsling is pretty much essential too. Stand big foot not needed imo like it was on the old gsa.

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it, but you are all mistaken the white ones are the lightest therefore must be the fastest.
And I have the proof on returning from Europe I noticed that on the Nav v that max speed says 290MPH so there.

Nah blue is fastest, I've got the proof @ the ring.

Mine is white... along with at least 70% of all others I've seen. Red seems to be the next-most popular colour.

I've seen one blue one on our roads so far. One!!!
It was actually my first choice when I was hunting for an LC, but they are hen's teeth...

Ding, what's that beak protector you've got? Is it a BMW part?

That's the Touratech beak extender.:thumb I've seen a few more blue ones here, since getting mine, and it looks more modern, compared to the other colours.:hide:D

Tbh i was not sure on the blue colour but after having powder coated the wheels black, the blue now just stands out, i had a lot of interest in the bike in Germany, the blue in the flesh is much nicer than in the photos and i have a full set of red plastics as well when i feel like a change.

Tis a awesome bike, a bit Jekyll and Hyde character, you can go bonkers on it turn all the aids off and ride it like ya stole it or just pootle along like i also did after the ring.

I'm quite handy with the old sticky back plastic :) So even though I've ordered a Red one, there will be a few colour changes when I'm bored. I've got some tasteful Marvel superhero sticker bomb vinyl wrap on the shelf....hmmmmm, Iron Man GS (I can hear JB and Wapping face palming from here)

That looks flipping excellent. :)

Colour-wise, my only real regret about my LC is that while the wire-spoked wheels on the GSAs have black rims and hubs, the GS's ones are lacquered aluminium.
At some point, I may try finding someone willing to do a straight exchange. :)

I know I sound like a broken record :blagblah but get those 'orrible grey panels painted black, and it'll finish your bike off.:thumb In the flesh, the black panels look fantastic, and anyone that's seen mine has commented on how good it looks.:beerjug:

Now I just need to get my wheels painted black.:blast:D

I think you can have to much black, I've got some black machineArt head covers on order with the Nipster and i think it needs more blue to break it up and stand out so I'm going to buy some spare side panels and have em painted in the blue colour, i recon it would look ace .

I've got a few chips on my fangs, so will probably get them painted blue at some point.:thumb I reckon that should break it up a bit.
