Hi there I've been lurking about the site for some time now so though I'd introduce myself I live in Barrhead which is 5mins from Paisley, I don't yet have a GS12 but I am in the market for one as soon as my Triumph 1050 speed triple sells I've been reading as much as I can whether it be in mags or on here but that only gets u so far so I thought I'd ask for some feedback the yr GS I'll be after is 04/05 thats my budget so if u can spare the time to a noob that would be great if not I'll just carry on reading...lol

Hi Big G,welcome to the Forum, Have you ridden a GS yet?
The Tiger is a very good motorcycle,i would strongly recommend a test ride at your local dealers, so that you can compare the two. Then if you like it, subscribe(£15) on here, so you can private message any sellers of your future BMW, good luck.

Yes I've ridden the tiger 1050 great engine and the bike overall is very good although I don't know wot they were thinking when designed the rear seat unit I took my mrs out on my m8's and to say she was up high is a understatement as for riding the gs no I haven't but I have ridden the r1200r which more or less the same bike as for spending £15 for membership......er not at the moment are u on commission or something....lol
