Helmet too noisy

Jetjock, quick thank you for your post, I've always worn foam plugs in the past, having read the details from your post I went & bought a pair of £20 Auritech's. Wow, I couldn't believe the difference, clarity of what you need to hear and way less of all the other noise, including the Anakees when doing long motorway hauls, very impressed, cheers! :beerjug:

I'm glad to be of service . I was exactly the same until auritech s were recommended to me by a fellow rider . I don't use any think else now . ( sorry for sounding like an advert for the said ear plugs ) they work very well with an intercom too

I've only gone and bought a arai tour x4 detour with a drift ghost s camera on top and a set of £100 custom fit passive ear plugs... Happy days.. Cheers lads for the help and advice

How are you finding your new Arai? I was lucky enough to have custom made noise cancelling ear plugs made whilst shooting for the RN and I'm guessing like me a lot of people don't put the foam ones in correctly until shown how. It makes a noticeable difference to their performance.

I have both a Shark Evo 3 for the commutes and better weather and an old Shoei XR1000 for the longer trips or shitty weather.

I always use ear plug anyway for either lid.

I love the arai, it's great that it's so comfortable and as a glasses wearer, really easy to put on specs.... I've just put a drift ghost s camera on her and also fitted a interphone f4mc.. Which is ok... Not very loud and not very clear... Wish I'd gone for a sena now..... But the helmet is awesome.. Lots of features

I have had your set up and the F4 is plenty load enough. I turned the auto volume control off which helps a lot. Also, they are very sensitive to the positioning of the speakers...small movements can make a bog difference. I can hear my pillion fine at over 80 BUT I do also have an MRA x screen fitted to my GSA TC which also makes a big difference to noise levels.
