Help E-mailing map

Could someone please explain how I can manage to save a map I have created so that I can e-mail it to someone who does not have Garmin software on their computer?

you need to take a screen shot.......

Get the map up, then look for the 'prt scr' (print screen) key...it'll usually be shift and one of the buttons above the cursor arrows.

Hit that combination (or whatever it happens to be) and then open up a paint type prog...MS Paint, Adobe photoready or similar, then open up a new image file and hit 'paste' which should stick the screenshot into the new screen.
Crop it, then save it as a JPEG or TIF.
