A question for all you guru's out there-

How do you get the front shock off a GSA?

I have released the top of the forks, removed the crash bars, jacked up the bike untill the wishbone is at full stretch, held back by the front brake line, and there is not enough clearance to get the shock out.

Any ideas please?

Cheers, Rick.

Remove the the plastic belt cover off, that will give you alot more space.

Shock Horror

Shed,

Many thanks for the tip - can't understand why I didn't think of that!

Shock off no prob.

Now down to fitting the shiny new Wilburs units! :)

Cheers, Rick.

Don't fortget to fit the spacer or you'll have to take it all apart again......oh, you did forget:P :D :D :D

Shocked

Thanks Tim,

Is there anyone you haven't told? :D

Went for a gentle run up round the Lakes yesterday afternoon in the sun. Lovely!

The Wilbers shocks are set up a lot firmer than the std units but not harsh at all - will be perfect setup with luggage across the Moroccan Pistes.

Mailed you a nice pic hopefully to make you jealous. ;)

Cheers, Rick.

ps Trying to get hold of a Wunderlich bash-plate for the GSA - anyone know who might have one?
