Well, 750 miles over 3 days including the worst rain I have ever ridden through and the bikes was great. It was monsoon level from Limerick all the way home (~300 miles?)
Weather protection is almost as good as my RT but the seat gave me numbness in the crotch area after about 40 miles. This was over come by moving about a bit more and didn't ever become a serious issue.
Suspension adn handling a very good and was properly tested on the Kilkenny to Limerick roads that are quite rough in places. Last night riding back up from Cairnryan to Glasgow the rain was appalling and I hit several floods at 40+mph including one through a corner and hte bike dealt with them without drama.
Overall I'm very pleased with my impulse purchase and don't need much more to make it just as I need it. One problkem to overcome is how to stop my gloves fillling with water so next time I'll try putting my gloves inside my sleeves and see how that does.
BTW the plug on my new heated jacket came apart (damn americans have no idea how to fit a plug!) and was the reason it didn't work in the origianl socket.
My aerostitch suit held our pretty well though with some moisture getting through the front, some wicking up my right trouserleg (my jeans must have been exposed out teh bottom, and some soaking of the crotch. Overall very pleased at its performance even after 30k mil.es
