I've got a few bits I need to fit to the bike but I'm a bit crap and if I set to I'll probably break things.

But I don't just want to take it to the garage and get them fitted - I'd like to see how it's done so I stand a chance of fixing it if it breaks and fitting new stuff later.

Is there anywhere around Thames Valley/Oxford/Reading area (or even further) I can take the bike and work with someone to fit the bits rather than take it to NOG?

It should be simple, if you know how, I guess - bar risers, fastway pegs, 2610gps, adjustable clutch lever.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Martin

great idea - i would like to do the same; garmin gps, baglux tank cover, autocom, additional lights..

maybe someone might do a clinic of some sort for people not too adept at these things but who are enthusiastic to learn!

Why not ...

... try sending Steptoe a PM; I'm sure he'd fit you in, for a fee of course :thumb2
