Help - no vids!

For some reason I can't see videos any longer on YouTube amongst others (maybe a blessing I know )

the message is;

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I've installed the Adobe Flash player and even re-booted but no joy.

I'm running Vista

any ideas guys??
