Hi,

just bought a used autocom system for a friend and it has come with a jumble of wires and some extras I don't recognise.

Anyone able to tell me what these are and what they do;

Top photo looks like the "extra" box to plug in a Garmin GPS.

Top is a Bluetooth dongle.

Below is an Amplirider (mini amp to boost audio feed. It's made by a bloke in Canada, nice chap he is too. They work really well).

Looks exactly like my mates dongle thingy, one hole in the top with a little light and one to stick a pointy thing down and press a button when pairing.

Could be as you say though (his is all black), I've only encountered Autocom's that have a jack socket for satnav feed in the main unit.

Right then chaps the top pic is our Part 1282 which is designed to run a phone and GPS connection. It is NOT a bluetooth dongle as they are supplied in a solid black box and do not have the two jack plug sockets.

The second pic I do not have a clue, I would say nothing to do with our systems as I have never seen anything like that since I have been working here
