Yep...sure could be number plate light, it runs separate to brake light etc, I'll check that thanks. On another note, trying to get sub frame bolts out, one top, one bottom corroded in. Been soaking in wd three days, tapped them, small impact gun, still not turning. Any ideas ?

Get some heat on them.
Sometimes it's worth trying to tighten bolts a little bit then undoing them.

Treat yourself to some Loctite freeze and release. If that doesn't free it nothing will.

Cheers guys, heat out of question, don't know about loctite freeze, see if I can find some.

Looks like it could be the unused carbon canister connector (with the plug cut off) that is used only on US spec bikes

A trick that's done well for me, but "little" is important.

That's my thoughts as well. Handy if you need a live feed switched with the ignition!

After a week of soaking in we, top one turned out, no such luck on bottom, so was easy drill the head off, turned out bolt stem, simples.
