help my rear shock has not come off right. the inner metal piece has not come off the back off the bike and the rear shock and the inner rubber has and the metal piece is stuck on does any one now the best way to get it off thanks

Soak it in WD40 overnight and then get a bit of heat on it tomorrow.
Do you want to re-use it or are you replacing the shock?

got it off but will need to clean it up with fine emaery paper and got the longer shock on so all good
