Anybody have comments about MK2 tourance?

Is this what i paid 10,000 grand for??????????????????????

New axle under warranty and you wore the tyres & pads out?:)

I never get more than 4k out of a rear tyre and usually fronts last around 7k.

You paid £10k for the fun and at last being able to grow a big beard and wear flourescent clothing.

You Sir, are a complete hooligan. Even I, ageing hooligan that I am, get another 700 miles or so on top of that out of a rear Tourance and I can usually get a front to last the duration of two rears. :augie

The Tourances on my 1150GSA are on 12K and I'm thinking that I might have to replace them soon :thedummy

Its the wretched 100GS that gets through tyres :spitfire The rear's only done about 5k and its well squared off (Pirelli Scorpion).

How do you wear out tyres in 2.5K ? :nenau :nenau :nenau

Bob.

Thanks for that Voyager:thumb hope i can get near that. Old trailwings on the 1100gs were good for about 8k rear and 10k front It would appear that the Battlewings are of a softer compound:confused:

Changed the tourances on my 1150GS when they had covered 12,479 miles. Changed 2 sets of rear pads during the same mileage. Now given the caliper and the pin tender love and care and rear pads still good at 8,300 miles.

Off to spray the bike pink!

Cheers
