Hi all,

Has anyone daisy chained Hex Cans? I know its possible, as it's mentioned on Hex's website using a dual connector wire but nothing about the how. I need 6 circuits to enable to fit my planned accessories, I'm looking for a wiring diagram/pictures if possible. It's also mentioned on A bike Thing U tube but it's not clear as to what goes where. I'm looking to confirm whether both units need power or just one and exactly what plugs into where, I think I'm there on latter point just want to confirm on the power feed/s.

From what i could work out

Unit 1 connects to the Angle sensor, but instead of connecting the other plug into unit 1 as the return, you connect it into unit 2's return plug

so you make a daisy chain

Angle Unit plug male /(female) xxxxxxxx Hex unit xxxxxxx Hex unit xxxxxxxxxx Angle plug female / (male)

Both items will more than likely need power

Mate thanks, but I don't think that's correct, the angle sensor shouldn't be in the loop. It should be the TMPS TDC on those bikes that have them. As it goes mine being a 2023 model it doesn't have one just a capped plug and a label stating RDC.

This video from the Hex website may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywSSZXqTO_M&t=322s. Look at it about 5 mins in. Hope this helps

To daisychain Ezcans you simply add the second Ezcan between the first Ezcan’s connections to the bike.

I used angle sensor as a generic lol - i couldnt find the correct fiche for the bike but you get the drift ;)

Thanks for that mate. This is just showing how to wire one, yes get the linking/daisy chain the second one in as I've mentioned in my post. What I need to confirm is do both units have to be wire to a live feed and this and most other examples are on bikes with the TMPS RCD. My bike doesn't have an TMPS RCD unit just the plug marked RCD.

Yes, both Ezcans need to be connected separately to the battery terminals. Each Ezcan has a red/live cable and brown/earth cable which should be connected to the battery +ve and -ve terminals respectively. Each Ezcan has a 30 amp fuse in its red/live cable.
