New bike and a question about Hex Ezcam and lights

Flaming T,

Mine is on and wired up to the front lights only at the moment. The rears are being sorted toms. I do have a slight issue in that I cannot get the new spots to increase and decrease in brightness and neither are they going max chat when the main beam is selected. Any ideas please?

Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve.... can I assume you have downloaded the software to your laptop.. if so, have you checked the settings. This is where you set how bright during day and night is done.

With the 'wiz wheel' hold it to the left for about 5 seconds... this activates the brightness up and down when turning the wheel.

Happy to chat if need be. PM me and I'll give you my number.

Just a heads up for you all that, like me, have set up your HEX ezCAN. If You hold the indicator cancel button in for 3+ seconds it turns your auxiliary lights on/off.

It is mentioned in the 'blurb' on the website but thought I would share it with you all.... like me, you may not bother to read all instructions/information first time round. :blast

Hahaha that is the undercover mode as it disables all the functions of the ezCAN... nice hey?

Pleased to say that my Ezcan is arriving on Tuesday. I fitted the brackets, lights and routed the wires back to the canbus area tonight. I followed Flaming T's route but I was starting from a mounting point on lower engine bars i.e cylinder head height.

Routing is fine, clear of everything but struggled on the LHS (as sat on bike) to cable tie wire from light to anything to make sure it doesn't fall towards the cylinder head over time. I cable tied my double core to the rubber hose coming from the radiator at the point where it has extra protective material on it. This is the only area I am concerned about. Is this ok?

Should be fine, however the first rule always applies. That is you need to inspect your ride often whether you have accessories or not, that way you can keep everything in place
