Well my winter hack (R1100GS) is almost ready to rise from the ashes (the garage floor) and take me through winter on my 50 mile commute each day through Norfolk's green lanes and muddy A roads.
This year I'm saving up for a grown up jacket that will last me more than a couple of seasons and cope with the worst of UK winters, which is why I've whittled it down 2 contenders, but what I want to know is:
Why does the HG Master cost £100 more than a BMW Rallye2 Pro (I can't see the extra money is worth it) it's less adaptable, the Goretex liner non removable and it's very, very plain).
But....my only worry about the Rallye2 Pro Jacket is it won't be warm enough, especially the forearms, they look and feel very thin and not THERMAL enough.
The answer is out there somewhere....
