Just thought I would introduce myself quickly to you all.

I have just bought an 07 GSA and it will be delivered tomorrow. I have spent all my time since passing my test on cruisers and harleys, so this will be a real change for me in terms of riding and riding gear, but I am really looking forward to it.

I have been scanning the site for about a week now and am bound to ask some stupid questions, so please bare with me.

The questions I have at the moment are probably the obvious one around a lower seat etc etc. The GSA comes with the off road tyres on it and am wondering how long I can ride with them without changing them to road tyres?

No such thing as a stupid question, but be prepared for the odd "RTFM" and "the search button is your friend" comment as you ask them

To answer one of your questions concerning tyres and how long you can ride with them before changing to a more road based tyre, well heres a stupid answer. It's up to how you feel they perform. Since you've not been riding this type of bike before you might find they can make life interesting particularly in the wet so changing them sooner rather than later might be the way to go. See how they go first though!
