I just ride (stupidly) fast with bats, they feel very good with some heat rode into them. Ever seen a 800 scrapping the pegs
Anakee 1's are no-where near as good as the grip with Anakee 2's. For an all rounder (using off-road also) Tourance's are spot on. There's really to many variables eg: mainly a tarmac rider/mainly a off-roader then you'd go for some knobblies (TKC).
I'm an amateur guys (3-years riding - 50K soonish), there are some proper people on here that do books & have letters before their title. Me, I am this sites nut-job.
I have just changed my Battlewings(original fitment) to Avon Distancias.Seem to be ok but as i`m still in the first 100 mls it`s hard to judge.Anybody else got them?Thoughts?
One thing I would do is remove the tax disc & sellotape it all over on both sides (creating a fairly good waterproofing effect). Then place it back into the (shyte easy to steal) holder.
Did you get it with the standard seat also?
ps: You only need some adventure-spec crash bars & (Val -vendors) muffs and you are set of winter riding
Hi, I had a feeling the seat looked low compared to others.....is that the case?
It did come with another seat too, an uber comfy gel filled thing, but that makes it pretty tricky to get my feet down. I guess it would be good for a long euro trip but to be honest I've had 2 hours on this and it feels miles better that the fireblade seat i was used to.
I was looking at crashbars too and i think there is a long thread on this somewhere so I wont start another, but is the general consensus that they are a good thing. I've seen sw-motech ones which I was leaning towards for <£150 unless someone wants to put me off.
Create a new thread, do not worry about someone saying "here's the search feature" ..lark. Nobody can tell how long you have used online facilities or how well acquainted you are with these forums.
Make all the mistakes & errors you want or don't want..but fall foul of. I am a noisy friendly bugga who try's to secretly test peoples ability at sharing images. You passed that test with flying colours & subbing to Paul (BHT) site is a bonus.
ps: I have ACF50'd my bike for this winter already. It won't be cleaned till end of jan/feb]
