Any one see or even better used these as daytime running lights or as low beam assisters? They are designed as lamps for ATV's but could easily work for a bike.

They clam to produce about 40 watts of halogen equivelent light which is fine as a daytime lamp but I not sure if they'll cast that much light on the road in the dark.

Not a bad price at about £50 each. Also on the way is a 75 watt version but Trialtech clam to be having some cooling issues so are reluctant to supply to the UK at the moment.

The lamp kits look good too as they come with tubular mounting brackets - should fit the engine bars nicely.
