I have finally got around to putting some pics up of Les's fantastic HiD kit. The difference is night and day as they say. I have now run these through the tail end of winter and into the spring/summer and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Units fitted were the high and low beam plus the fog kit.

Basalt location was not a problem, the main lights went under the beak.

The smaller ballasts for the fogs went behind the side panels and the small box sections behind them. Plenty of wiring meant a nice, neat fit.

The industrial Velcro was used for the job and while I was skeptical at first, it has held on for over 5000 km now through some truly appalling weather and rough roads and seems well up to the job.

Night and day or should I say, night turns into day. Even the auto settings on the camera have trouble!

Hi Les

Kit all works fine, as said by many others fantastic kit and great service many thanks for the advise over the phone.

They're BRIGHT!!!

and easy to fit! No need to remove the light unit (nothing that a bit of cursing won't solve while fiddling under the dash...). Was a bit sceptical with the industrial velcro so I secured the ballasts under the beak with additional tie-wraps. Although it feels rock solid now, I might make some sort of bracket to screw them onto.

Attached some photo's taken in daylight:
Dipped before and after, and main after (do not, I repeat, DO NOT look straight into the beam... :augie)
Unfortunately no photo of original main beam.

I can definitely recommend the kit! :thumb2

And likewise, just fitted mine, should have taken no more than about 45 minutes but since I asked my brother to help it took about 21/5 hours.

Everything worked first time and easy to fit (once you've dropped the front crashbar on the GSA:augie) and work brilliantly (pun intended)

Thanks Les:thumb
