I have finally got around to putting some pics up of Les's fantastic HiD kit. The difference is night and day as they say. I have now run these through the tail end of winter and into the spring/summer and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Units fitted were the high and low beam plus the fog kit.
Basalt location was not a problem, the main lights went under the beak.
The smaller ballasts for the fogs went behind the side panels and the small box sections behind them. Plenty of wiring meant a nice, neat fit.
The industrial Velcro was used for the job and while I was skeptical at first, it has held on for over 5000 km now through some truly appalling weather and rough roads and seems well up to the job.
Night and day or should I say, night turns into day. Even the auto settings on the camera have trouble!
Great kit, thanks again Les.
