I've just bought a high mile 1150GS, 110k, mostly BMW service history and well looked after by it last owner.
Apart from needing a major service, which I can do myself, can anybody advise what the main items are that might need doing at this sort of mileage please?
No evidence of the clutch having been changed but apparently it has spent most of it's time up and down the motorway.
Fairly recently it had a FD bearing and also the swing arm bearings were replaced.
It sounds tappety, which I hope will be sorted when I adjust them... If it doesn't quieten down could it be the camchain/tensioner?
Front brakes feel a bit spongy but again I'm hoping to cure that with a fluid change and bleeding.
