Who has the most miles on their 1300gs so far, and any problems so far?

I’m just on 2500 miles so far. Purple of minor glitches with warning messages coming up on the dash ( 2 x tyre pressure warnings for front tyre….checked, and all correct. And one warning for the cruise control)

Still loving the bike after two months.

Only got 1500 km on mine as the weather is abysmal here and has been for months

Had the starter relay recall at first service although I didn’t know my bike was effected

Not had any problems, bugs, glitches or error messages yet, so far it’s perfect, and I love it (y)

All going well with 1400 miles until these warnings appeared and the adaptive height stopped working. Booked in on the 21st June earliest the could see it ,luckily I'm on Holiday till the 29th

2600 miles, had no problems, did have the replacement relay but the “faulty” one caused me no problems. My brake pads are wearing normally, still loads left on front and rear as checked yesterday with the mandatory health check, when the panniers were fitted. Will put another couple of thousand miles on first two weeks of July👌

5746 miles so far since Jan and the only problems I've had is the common intermittent starting issue and the bike setting itself on fire (relay issue), other than that she's been flawless....... :ROFLMAO:

Be sure to get the latest updates, there's been several since the bike came out. One of them addresses the start issue

160 miles and all good. Brake pad wear reasonable, no oil consumption. Spanking bike, a big improvement on 1250.

Only problem, warning messages not working.

2200 miles. only issue was discovering the Optimate 'un' charging issue when left on the trickle.

Wots the trickle charge issue....just invested in Lithium Optimate?
send it back. buy the bmw charger! (only joking). I plugged an Optimate 4 which i had purchased especially for this bike and it fully discharged the battery and the bike had to be recovered (the first time i was taking this bike out!).

BMW are aware of this issue and gave me a BMW charger because of the inconvenience caused.

Does anyone know for sure what the latest software version BMWhave released fir the 1300?
Just had my first service done, my dealer did BMW System update to they're computer the day before, and I went from software version 125_011_030 to 125_013_030.
Not sure what has changed yet, I have had the starting button issue intermittently, and a couple of suspension not working warnings, a turn of turn on reset that problem at the time...
Be aware I am in New Zealand, not sure if that makes any difference to the software...

4,000 km, mix of solo and two up (70/30), no issues. Very pleased with the whole bike and a quick run back to the UK did show up that the ride needs to be softened for UK roads compared to France.
The ride height control and electric screen have been superb and the amount of protection provided is fine for us.
Just had a recall notice for the vario panniers as they could open, but I have had no issues.

Agree the ride height adjustment is surprisingly good and the electric screen superb.
Find myself adjusting multiple times on any journey to optimise conditions.
But no real issues on ride comfort - plenty on seat comfort - but that's nothing new.

2500 miles on mine now, and no issues to report.
Absolutely brilliant bike to ride.
Had no problems with the various panniers either, but I'm aware of something going on at BMW to remedy a potential issue according to my dealer contact.
