Anyone got one of these? Are they any good? How do they compare against the Motorrad Elektrik kits?



been thinking about this mod too.

"high output Alternators run at about 300/400." Clearly u have not been to Australia, Every house has 3 commodores in various state of repair on the property.
"1/ Alternator would crap out in mud and water " I heard they have no problems with one doing many many kms. have you seen australian bull dust
"2/ The bearings in the pulleys would also crap out." rememeber it is up under the tank and behind the front mudguard siting very high and protected
"3/ And last but not least Belts break!" does a belt break on a Harley Ferguson or a F650CS see point 2
"4/Alternator is very exposed see point 1/ " see point 2.
Geez ya a negative little bugger ant ya. and I always wondered why they said POMS were such whingers
I would love one and better than that peice of junk supplied that ya scared to turn headlight and heated grips on
