I went back to the Highlands, after being away for 4 years or so. And definitely missed the roads, Scenery & everything it has to offer. I stayed in my usual place, Caol, as it is close to all the good stuff with plenty of other things to do around without having to drive for hours.
The weather was mainly onside - only a couple of wet days, but otherwise pleasant most days to get a good ride in!
We did some new routes, roads and places i had not done before & some new ones too. And they've certainly been added to the list - Pitlochry to Killin on the B846 & B8019 was a top notch route!
I covered around 750 miles all in, as i took the easy option of taking the Bike up on a Trailer. Whilst my mate rode there & back, over a few days each way.
Added a few pictures below, although i cannot remember where everything was taken!
Some pictures from the first couple of days;
A view from the South side of the Kinlochleven Loch.

A walk over to Caol Bay,

A 'shipwreck' on the Beach, of a ship that broke free from its moorings in a Storm

A Whale boat, stationed over in Fort William
