Had my 2021 GSA back to the dealer for the software recall and all sorts of problems since I got it back. The alarm system packed up and dealer admits its gone. New one on the way but they have no clue when. Other annoyance, in trying to reboot the alarm system I did a factory reset on the TFT screen to see if it would work. Alarm no but since I did this I have all sorts of problems with the Hillstart function. Coming on far to easily when I touch the brake whilst stationary, sometimes not working at all and the icon flashing in the TFT with the inactive symbol (Hillstart icon white with a line through it) . Dealer says there is nothing wrong. Any ideas or advice?

thks

The hill start should engage when you pull back on the brake lever and then give it an ‘extra bit of squeeze’ as it were. It should disengage when you, either:

a. Ride forward

b. Give it a second ’extra bit of squeeze’

Try it on the flat…. Which is not difficult in Holland :D

Is your hillstart set to Auto or Manual in the TFT menu?

Maybe the reset changed the default hillstart setting, and it is now behaving differently?

Thanks both. Was not aware there was a selection ootion in the TFT screen. Let me check

Richard, when we did the reset at our stop on the Eifel this is exactly what happened. All good. Just alarm needs replacing
