Using a bored out 650 motor so im guessing 55-60 hp ?
I hope it has the charm of its baby brother and isn't too heavy, it could be a good option for some people not wanting an overly complicated bike.

slightly Norden-esk with the signature round headlight. nice looking bike to me. it will be interesting to see what the colour schemes will be. fingers crossed for it

Hi I think its a stroked motor. On another forum someone pointed out an additional fin on the cylinders.

I'm 90% sure it is a 750. This bike has one extra fin on the cylinder and looks to be taller. This would imply this engine has been stroked out. It could be, I don't believe there's anything official but the Hindustan Times auto section reckons its a 750. Who knows but a 750 would be my preference

I'd say it'll be 220kg plus... (The 450 Himmy is just shy of 200kg wet)...price may obviously garner it loads of sales

yes I expect it to be around that too. The price will be keen I expect and they offer something a little different to the mainstream manufacturers that is a breath if fresh air.

Judging by the 450, it will be worth a very serious look. Quality should be very good and price competitive.

simpler bikes that are cheaper to buy and maintain with good availability of spares . people can maintain them themselves easier than compared to most European and Japanese bikes .

I think it's much more than a styling exercise , it's a bike their customers have been asking for a long time. sure its not going to be as capable as a 890 oor T7 etc off road but I think that's ok it will have other qualities that SOME people will want. its great to have different choices . its going to attract a certain rider. like a Moto Guzzi v85tt does.

It may well be the Dacia Duster to the (twice as expensive) VW Tiguan of mid capacity adv bikes. No bells and whistles but just gets on and does the job. When you read lots of posts on this and other forums....the world of biking is crying out for more basic bikes...a world away from shedloads of electronics, 170hp+ (yeah, yeah...the riding gods with them use every single BHP... )
Our North American cousins still seem to love the Kawasaki 650 thumpers...I wish it well in becoming a big seller...and keeping people biking

I don't think its an awful lot of work to update this 6 or 7 year old engine into a 750 with more suitable gearing and power. It's going into a brand new model so just plonking an old engine in wouldn't be as desirable. if I was a betting man id stick with it being a 750 I certainly hope so.
