Camshaft in,timing chain was new anyway so has been refitted,new oil pressure relief spring

Oil pump was pristine so that’s been refitted.

Because the cylinder heads are not going to be suitable to build a hotish motor,
We’ll build a warmish motor
I had these knocking around
1000 cc barrels ,9.5 to 1 pistons.
Before and after cleaning
They came off the bike I got from steptoe,which now has a 1070 kit fitted

Which heads did you use with those 1000 barrels in the end, the 800 ones? Modified if so?

Yes 800 heads with the squish machined to suit the bigger bores/pistons

Guessed you would. I stuck with 32s on my 97 bore by machining out mono 100RS/RT heads. (Twin plugged). I sneakily used a 40 bevel & chain to make a faster action throttle to compensate for 40s but have the drivability & fuel efficiency of 32s. I don’t really go much faster than 80 in reality. Pipe & slippers for me.

Not at all rude.
Its just that I am trying to semi retire and made these for Mike to help him out.
So not sticking my neck out for more work, I want to spend more time riding the bikes rather than working on them.

I managed to find a BNIB ktm hub for this,
So, the wheels are built,new tapes,tubes and tyres.
