I wouldn't get my fat behind on that seat with all that gear on lol120L eurohike bag at rear, 50L oxford in front, and what ever I could find to stick them on the RT with. RT panniers are not the best for camping gear.
Looks a bit dodgy, but never even felt they were there.
PS it' quite a large tent for one chap on a m/cycle![]()

Looking at that scares me. I would never never ride with luggage like that. It is not normal riding that you need to be concerned about ... but that one time when you need to do a quick maneouvre and the bike will develop a mind of its own. Well I have to say that I'm really impressed and many thanks for all your replies
but up to now the LOMO are looking good but it will be in Black
It would only be used for the tent and camping equipment, all needed things would be in the top box or on me so wouldn't matter about the colour being blackUnless you're a fashion conscious colour co-coordinating gimp avoid black, it's impossible to find stuff in them. You want a nice top opener in bright yellow. Whether you choose to have Ortlieb or Lomo on the side is entirely up to you.
Limo 40l with rok straps. Nothing to beat that combo for ease of use, safety, reliability and value for money.

Hi,
I find the Oxford Aqua 50L sufficient for up to two weeks hoteling it. No hard luggage. Just a Kriega US5 on the tank. Velcro strap under the rack and a couple of rok straps.
Cheapest thing at the moment as it is free with Bike subscription and 15% off that for Easter. So £41 for Bike and free Aqua bag, or £41 for an Aqua bag and free Bike for a year., whichever way you want to see it.
