Hole in Crankcase++

The area around the hole in the crankcase - the paint seems to be coming off. Anyone else had this issue? recommendations on what can be done? going to NoG tomorrow to show it there. Still under warranty so hope it gets sorted.

That will by the Glycol in the coolant mixture corroding the paint I would imagine.

I had a similar issue (perhaps a bit more extensive), plus further corrosion on the engine and swing arm - both are being replaced for new next week under warranty, along with part of the wiring loom and the left switch gear. The dealer and BMW have been exceptionally helpful about this.

JLo, yes, may be the same case with mine as well. A new engine! Waiting for BMW UK to approve. Dealer has been most helpful and supportive.
