Honda CT125 Hunter Cub

You'd need to contact https://www.sevenseasmotors.com/ join the waiting list for imports and pay £5k!!

A great firm to deal with, really nice people.

Mark and Sharon especially helpful :thumb2

I think mine has landed in the UK and I expect to take possession January maybe early February :thumb

I don't think £5K is out of the way :D

Some fascinating bikes there, that we have never seen. The Kawasaki Estrella, looks more like an AJS or Enfield.

Micky if you look at “ customers bikes tab” there is a Lancastrian with a similar passion for adventure like yourself.

Will do a search unless you have a link :thumb2

Many thanks

Edit ... done a search, no chance :blast

A bit more bling waiting for me at my neighbours, when I returned home after the Christmas/New Year M'off :D

Frame centre rack ... looking at the Kriega US-5 to fit on it, unless anyone has a better suggestion?

Bike should be here soon :thumby:

:beerjug:

With that rack in the way how will you get aboard - I would struggle …

Try Carole Nash Select, my quote earlier this year from CN included European breakdown and I didn't want a years cover but they wouldnt remove it. Then they said try CN Select who do non standard policies. Worth a look

https://www.carolenash.com/select

Wont insure, Alastair :blast

Devitt, underwritten by Novitas, £190, garaged, 9 yrs ncb, could not locate the model but they suggested calling it a C125!

Correction - I now see that Novitas have designated it a CT125 C on the schedule

£322.47

footman james cover ct110

will when i renew it

Footman James wouldn't insure my MZ because it isn't garaged .... so not even going there!

Micky - when I picked up my bike Mark was handing out these cards with their dealer reference

Spoke to Mark today, he suggested Bikesure .... but I seen they're part of the Adrian Flux Empire

They do imported motorcycles but quoted me £350

That's over £100 more than my Camper that I insure with them, sleeps at the same address, twice the designated mileage and three times the value.... how does that work :rob

Bemoto's renewal next week, for my MZ, twice the capacity, fully comp and includes full UK and European recovery is £167.71

They want £367.80 to insure the CT125 Hunter Cub at a maximum insured value of £3,800 .... more than £1K less than its brand new price

Work in progress, but Devitt looking best at the mo. I'll not be feckin' beat :rob

Micky I had a torrid time insuring my Monkey 125, Carole Nash refused ( despite it being one of seven bikes on my policy) Others varied from flat refusal to £800. In nearly all cases they couldnt find its description which was 125 MAK

I had seen on the Monkey Facebook page others using Hastings, tried them £118 fully comp at 1500 miles per year. They just called it Honda 125 9HP.

Might be worth a call, I appreciate your bike is more unique, but ultimately its a Honda 125cc with an ole bloke on board just like me :) :rob:rob

I like your style Steve :thumby:

Will ring Hastings ;)

Thank you

Best get crackin’ on replacing that back window with a door …

Bike in at Dewsbury .... goes for Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval certificate 6th February and then it can be registered.

It has the longer stroke engine, more torque, and an oil filter fitted :thumb

I think that I'm as excited as you are! I can't wait to see it and hear what it's like?

There is NOTHING quite like that new bike feeling is there?...:)
