For sale is my Honda VFR1200F DCT, finished in [insert colour]. This is the DCT model and comes with genuine Honda OEM colour-matched panniers.

The bike has covered just 14,400 miles, and is in good cosmetic and mechanical condition. It rides exactly as it should — smooth V4 power delivery, effortless motorway cruising, and very stable through corners.

Key Details
  • 2011 model
  • 14,400 miles
  • DCT
  • Genuine Honda colour-matched panniers
  • Recent new tyres (front & rear)
  • Current MOT
  • 2 service records (2022 & 2025)
Condition
The bike is clean, straight and well cared for. Paintwork presents very well. Tyres were recently replaced, so no immediate spend required there.
Service history is partial (two documented services), reflected in the pricingIMG_0523.jpegIMG_0524.jpegIMG_0525.jpegIMG_0526.jpegIMG_0527.jpegIMG_0528.jpegIMG_0529.jpegIMG_0530.jpegIMG_0531.jpeg. The bike has been lightly used in recent years and is running perfectly.

£4400

Recent services at the Engine Room, Landscove. Nick did a great job getting everything set up well, handling tunednicely. Last service in December 2025, including an MOT

Rode mine down to Gibraltar.

Couple of questions.

Did it have the recall for the driveshaft.

The rear shock pre-load works freely.

Can you confirm the strange coloured bolts in the photo and is the side casing marked.

Thanks

Hi, it did have a service at Honda just after I bought it, and there were no recall issues (Honda in Exeter). Rear shock preload is working fine; at last service it was worked on and it moves smoothly and does change preload. The crusty bolts are exactly that; Honda’s bolt paint has worn off in last 15 years. I have considered a change to stainless with suitable thread coating, or pull them individually and recoat, but I haven’t got there yet!
