That's like a brand new bike, glorious. (I wonder if it is a US import...theirs were called 'Intercepters' I believe)
I got mine after a group of us had drunk enough red wine one night to decide we were going to watch the last round of the WSBK, in Italy, where Colin Edwards (Honda VTR1000SP1) was pretty much level pegging with Troy Baylis on the Ducati. One of our lads was a school mate of the press officer in the Honda team, who managed to blag us into the Honda garage. The racing was out of this world, but what stood out for me was when Edwards and Baylis returned to the garages, they had units behind the garages which they both went into before coming back out to do the podium stuff. They both emerged from their units at the same time, and Edwards looked across at Baylis, and Baylis looked across at Edwards, they’d spent two races giving their everything, swapping the lead numerous times and given their absolute all. And they both smiled and did a thumbs up. The coolest thing I have ever personally witnessed.the SP1 was glorious.
