Bought my X-adv 750 in December its done a grand total of 189 miles, it is the new 2025 model with the bigger tft, indicators in headlights and the very much improved DCT gearbox, bigger and easier to adjust screen 1 hand, the bike is obviously Mint and was specked with the following
Pearl white
Honda Rear Rack
Honda heated Grips
Honda console bag (really handy but £160 !!)
Honda Wind Deflectors
Honda hand guards with the white extensions
Honda Wheel stickers

the Invoice for the bike was £12K
after this ive added
Front Spots
Rear Hugger
Side Crash bars
Rear enduro foot pegs (These are a must for comfort )
Alarm with 2 remotes
Twin USB
Metal 52Ltr top box
Yoshimura end can
at a cost of an additional cost of around a £1000

I have fallen in love with another bike as you do so need to make space I have had a part ex valuation from Doble where it came from, back in standard form of £9500 so im thinking £10,250 which is a fair bit cheaper than they will be selling it for, if you ordered one today delivery would be August, I am the first owner its not a pre reg its in my name at my address and was bought outright so no finance to clear
Any interest either PM me or give me a ring on 07984 223 965 for a chat
Rob

PS the Honda wheel stickers were not fitted at the time of the pic they were on order

Whenever my lovely wife says I can't make my mind up and am always changing bikes I will point out Rob Adventure Boy as what it could be like...😆🤣👍 As always GLWS😁

A whole lot cheaper jb
Arsey Im saying nothing !! lol
Big Den try the latest version honestly the DCT is so much better, ive had all the variants now and the 2025 is without doubt the best so far
Andrew Thanks and to be honest the top box only looks that big in the picture no idea why
Wrigsby my Mrs takes absolutely no notice at all anymore (result lol )

well I thought Id have no end of enquirers bearing in mind its over £2k cheaper than new, you dont have to wait 4 months to get it and its done less than 200 miles

Ill give it a few days on here then decide weather to just keep it, new bikes on order and paid for, it wont eat anything
Rob

£10K the one and only price reduction its going to have, this has not covered 200 miles yet boys
Find another one like it for the money !!
Rob

JB, Ill trade the Xadv with Dobles for a Hornet 1000SP June delivery and will collect the new Tiger Sport 800 this week, Ill keep the Transalp as I think its a cracking bike and doing a 5 day wales trip on it from the 18th
May have gone on the Tiger sport but Triumph cant guarantee getting the Panniers top box and Cntr stand delivered and fitted on 1st service before we leave !!

always had it planned to go on the Tranny anyway as its just so comfi, get some miles on it as well its only done 729 so far lol

Nice choices
Do you prefer the Hornet style of bike to the XAdv Scooter type?
I thought the new Tiger Sport 800 looked nice and a sort of modernised 1050
Are you getting a CB350s too, for round the houses ?

LOL no CB350 I had the Tiger sport 660 and liked it but thought it revved a bit too high to tour on so thought id give the 800 a go
I like the Xadv a lot but do miss changing gear LOL
Rob

Well after doing something I really don't do normally and test riding the Hornet 1000 I have decided to give that a wide berth and have cancelled the order, I have put the X-adv on ebay but after a quick ride to get some fuel in it today may well pull that off and keep it for a while or at least till the first service

Thank God for reality
A test ride pays dividends

It did this time !! probably only test ridden a handful of bikes in all the bikes ive had, going to book a test ride on the new Tiger sport 800 for the weekend if I can maybe ill cancel that as well LOL save myself a few quid HA HA

Snatchy throttle, like an on and off switch, quick shifter felt like I was kicking a metal rod into a washing machine suspension was a bit too firm although you can adjust it, and I felt it really did feel a bit budget compared with the X-ADV which just seems to a bit better glued together!! just my opinion

Sounds similar to Chopsie’s thoughts

Funnily I watched that Saturday eve after the test ride and thought Spot on !! not sure he will be keeping his, he said it about 3 times "if I keep it" that's not a good sign
