Hotel with secure parking in Portsmouth

Off to the Pyrenees soon and are booked on the early boat from Portsmouth to Bilbao. We've got a fair old ride down to Portsmouth so would like to spend the evening there and roll up to the ferry in the morning. We need a hotel or b&b with secure parking for 4 bikes, just wondered if anyone could recommend something?

I've always stayed at the Premier Inn Portsmouth Port Solent, Binnacle Way.

Bike right at the front door with an eatery next to it. Just a short ride to the ferry in the morning.

Apologies for not posting in the right section, I thought it was more logical in the Pyrenees section because it is concerning a trip to there and I couldn't find a regional info south section. Portsmouth is hardly south west!

I can highly recommend this place. Not soulless like the chains and very good value with an enclosed car park.

Ibis (standard red one) next to the University has a gated car park . Tiny rooms with tiny bathrooms, though. Make sure you only pay for 1 parking space for the 4 bikes.

Short walk to Guildhall Walk with a number of pubs full of student totty.

Hotel prices in Portsmouth are silly unless you use the horrid Ibis Budget (limited parking, not secure) and I usually get an overnight boat as a consequence!
