Hotmail and Outlook Express.

I use Outlook Express to check my Hotmail account. Every mail I receive appears twice in the inbox. It’s a pain having to delete each mail twice. Can anyone shed light on why is this happening?

I had the same problem. I have just started using Microsoft Outlook that came with Office XP and it doesn't do it on this .

No help I know, but I'm not getting frustrated now

outlook seems to check mail in a different way to outlook express, & in my experience is far more prone to downloading the same message twice. never had the problem with OE.
