Hold down the fn and ctrl keys (shd be bottom left 2 on keyboard) and then left click mouse.

Also very useful is Shift-cmd-4 which gives you cross hairs. You then drag it open with mouse and release to take a screen shot of selected area.

Or Shift-cmd-3 takes screenshot of entire desktop

Cheers guys - have worked it out via Arsey's route but i haven't got a left & right button on the Mac mouse :nenau

you have if it's a mac bought in the last few years.

it's not a physical button, you just click with the right side of the mouse, it brings up context menu, just like ctrl+left click :)

note: left finger must not be touching the mouse ;)

Steve Jobs has a thing about buttons - he doesn't like them.

I'm amazed he allowed them on Apple keyboards.

Seriously ....... ditch the apple mouse for another bluetooth type. It's the worst piece of Apple "form over function" ever.

I knew that someone on the forum would be mates with him - I've never met the fella :D

got three, one wired, two bluetooth. love 'em.

work great apart from the scroll ball thing on top clogging once in a while. i have tried my old favourite MS intellimouse, but it's just so "unapple" it offends my sensibilities :)

I've had good success with a lint free paper towel and monitor cleaning fluid to rub into the top, then turn it upside down and roll it about fairly vigourously in all directions on another dry one.

Also, less pies at the desk seems to stop it going wonky in the first place. I think it picks up fat/butter/<whatever> and stops tracking in one direction usually.

3 BT ones in use and haven't had them go bad since I broke the food at the computer habit.

i find that can work sometimes, but i've needed to do this twice

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jet7488UoSE&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jet7488UoSE&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

much easier the second time.
